Just Bee

This is a process focused art piece.  Starting with a warm wash of reds and yellows, I covered the canvas.  I created texture and interest with stencils, and this wildflower scene emerged.  Adding further details with black shadows and white highlights brought out new dimension and narrative between these two creatures in the warmth of summer.
